Updated 8/12/2024: The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts 2024 Juried Photography & Juried Art Exhibits will be in the Anne P. Baker Gallery from August 9 to September 21, 2024. Regular gallery hours are 10am-4pm, Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Glema Center event days.
Jurors for this year’s exhibits were Robert Dickes and Brett R. Anderson. Dickes earned his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Kentucky and has published work in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and People in addition to exhibiting in galleries and museums around the world. Anderson is an associate professor at the University of Southern Indiana and the director of the Kenneth P. McCutchan Art Center/Palmina F. and Stephen S. Pace Galleries and has shown his works in national and international juried, invitational, and solo exhibitions.
An opening reception and awards ceremony was held on Friday, August 9, at 6:30pm. Merit awards were presented at the discretion of the jurors. Congratulations to each recipient, and to all participants whose art and photography were accepted into these exhibits!
