Grammy-winner Jason Vieaux is described by NPR as “perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation.” In appearances from New York’s Lincoln Center to Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and the Seoul Arts Center, he has cemented his reputation as a brilliant artist of uncompromised mastery. He is hailed as “virtuosic, flamboyant, dashing and, sometimes ineffably lyrical” (New York Times) on stage.

Wynona Wang, piano ∙ Friday, February 21, 2025, 7 P.M.

Chinese pianist Wynona Wang was selected as First Prize winner of the 2018 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, the latest in a series of impressive first prize performances, along with the 2017 Wideman International Piano Competition in Louisiana. Wynona was also awarded the Juilliard School’s 2022 Rubenstein Prize, as well as the 2019 Charlotte White Career Grant awarded by the Salon de Virtuosi in New York City.

Eykamp String Quartet ∙ Saturday, April 12, 2025, 7 P.M.

Members of the Eykamp String Quartet serve as principal string players of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, as Artists in Residence at the University of Evansville, and as educational ambassadors. The Eykamp String Quartet is made possible by the special underwriting of Rita, Richard and Dorothy Eykamp, friends of the University of Evansville, and the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.

Eunice Kim, violin ∙ Thursday, September 5, 2024, 7 P.M.
A young artist with a unique voice, violinist Eunice Kim has been proclaimed “just superb” by The New York Times. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, the award-winning violinist has been featured soloist with many ensembles including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, and the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Her creative work includes time with Ensemble39, a contemporary quintet of strings and winds devoted to commissioning new music and pushing the boundaries of the concert experience.
