“The American Songster” Dom Flemons has a repertoire covering over one hundred years of American roots music, including country, folk, bluegrass, Americana, and the blues. Flemons is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music scholar, historian, actor, slam poet, record collector, podcaster, and the creator, host, and producer of the American Songster Radio Show. He is considered an expert player on a variety of instruments including the banjo, guitar, harmonica, and jug, and is the co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops.

Small Time Napoleon

Small Time Napoleon is the combination of new ideas and old sounds. Their interest in the jazz standards of the swing-era shine through in their voices, writing, and playing, while their ear for new sounds and ideas constantly drives them forward. The product of this pairing is what Kyle Ware of Insider Louisville has called “a mad science blend of western swing, hot jazz and folk.”

Monte Skelton & Friends

For Monte Skelton, music is a way of life.  Whether he is performing live or composing an album, it’s very likely there’s an instrument nearby that he can play quite well. The University of Evansville alumni is a music educator at Evansville Music Academy and performs throughout the Midwestern United States. Along with recording, mixing, mastering and producing multiple solo albums, Monte also has performed with the legendary group The Temptations and jazz vocalist Sherrie Bias.

The Third Wheels

The Third Wheels defy categorization with their eclectic blend of jazz, bossa nova, rock, blues, and country influences. Band members Brent Webster (guitar), Kala Dunn (vocals and flute), Dean Hughes (drums), and Scott Thile (bass) push musical boundaries with their heartfelt performances of new compositions and creative takes on classic favorites.
