Misti is a native of Hopkins County and a 1991 graduate of Murray State University. She discovered her love for performing arts while watching a performance of Phantom of the Opera at NYC’s Majestic Theatre! She was first able to combine her love of the arts with her accounting degree during her 4-year stint as the Madisonville North Hopkins Band Booster treasurer. After retiring as a state unemployment auditor, she was once again able to combine her experience with her love for the arts by joining the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts team.
Traveling with her husband Ed is one of her favorite pastimes. They are the proud parents of two adult children, Edward and Skylar. In her spare time, you may see her walking/running around town wearing Mickey Ears training for her next race. One of her favorite memories was celebrating her New York City Marathon finish at the New Amsterdam Theatre watching Aladdin. Genie opened the show with his own NYC Marathon medal!
