Auditions for local dancers for The Children’s Nutcracker, presented by the Children’s Center for Dance Education, will be Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts on the campus of Madisonville Community College. Participants will audition by age group: ages 4-6 at 1:30pm; ages 7-9 at 2:30pm, and ages 10 and up at 3:30pm.
Participants should come dressed to move, in a leotard with tights or stretch leggings with tucked in shirt and with dance slippers, jazz shoes, or socks to dance, turn, and jump in.
Rehearsals will be the following Sunday afternoons: October 20, November 3, November 17, and December 1. Costume fittings and dress rehearsal will be Wednesday, December 4 and the cast will have two performances on Thursday, December 5.
